Packing Up Storage in New York for Las Vegas

The Jedi are moving back to Las Vegas after one year living in Manhattan. We gave it a lot of thought and no matter how much money made in New York City, nothing compares to living in Nevada.

Some people are envious of others who were "born into money".  I say "why?".  People who are born into money never get to live their own life.  They live close to where their parents lived and their parents lived close to where their parents lived and so on.  The next generation is so afraid of hainvg "make it on their own" that they never leave.  If you never leave home, then younger grew up.  Just ask any pigeon what she would do if her child would not leave the nest.  She kicks them out and they have to fend for themselves.  

I grew up with money, just like my Dad.  But my Dad did not want me to follow in his footsteps.  He wanted me to learn for him.  But he did no want me to be a copy of him.  My Dad was not the type of man who needed reassurance from others.  He was (is) truly a cowboy, a Lone Ranger, a Jedi. 

Unfortunately, I am the type of person who needs constant reassurance.  I'm always afraid that I'll do something wrong or I did something wrong but I don't know it yet.  But I did learn.  I learned that I am a pioneer, a creator, an inventor and an artist.  I would never have known true calling that if I would have "played the game".  

I took it to the edge.  And that's where I lost a lot of friends.  They stayed behind.  I moved ahead.  They strived to acquire material wealth in their old age.  I strived to discard my possessions and live free. My desires for wealth are slowly subsiding.  I am starting to see clearer now. .  

In contrast, wealthy people born into a Manhattan rent controlled apartment never get to leave because they are afraid they'll lose their low-rent dwelling.
